Worldox Virtual User Group Meetings
Every month (usually on the last Monday) Paul Purdue and Mary Jo Boyd lead this fast-paced, informative, and interactive forum where you can ask questions or just learn from the group. Paul and Mary Jo announce their pre-selected topics in an email that’s broadcast the Thursday prior to the session. You can login to the session live, ask questions, and interact with the attendees, or you may “attend” by simply playing back the recorded session. Enjoy!

Join Paul and Mary Jo on Monday, October 28th at 3:00 pm ET as they delve into Filtering and Worldox Web 3.0.
Did you ever wish that you could access your documents when you’re not in the office? Worldox Web 3.0 has been released, and it is sharp (not to mention the fact that it is now included, at no additional cost, in the latest update). Paul will demonstrate how it works, talk about the enhancements over 2.5, and delve into what you need to do to get this functionality running at your site.
Mary Jo will dig deep into filtering and explain that tab at the bottom of your screen that so many people overlook.
This month, it’s all about YOU! We’ll delve into how to make Worldox look the way YOU want it to look. First, we’ll tackle the button bar. We’ll show you how to add buttons to access certain functions that may not already be there, and we’ll talk about how to remove buttons that you don’t use. We’ll also show you how to change the picture and the words that make up each button, so that they are meaningful to you.
After we get your button bar looking the way you want it, we’ll move on to the column layout. We’ll show you how to add and remove columns, how to resize them, and, most importantly, how to make those changes “stick”.
This month, we’ll go into how to create “shortcuts” to specific groups of documents – something we call “bookmarks”. Bookmarks allow you to quickly jump to a certain client, or project, or virtually any other group of documents that you can search for – without having to perform a search. Bookmarks can appear as buttons on the main Worldox screen, giving you instant access to the files you access frequently.
We’ll also show you how to control your “favorites” – how to add a file to the favorites list, and even how to remove one. We’ll talk about how to control what comes up when you open Worldox for the first time – this is usually favorites, but we’ll show you how to change this behavior.
Watch the inaugural meeting of our Worldox Virtual User Group. We delve into Categories, a new feature in Worldox GX3. Categories are actually a “re-design” of what used to be called “libraries”, and the folks at Worldox have done a commendable job of adding lots of functionality. Learn how to create categories on a personal, matter, and firm wide basis, and how to assign documents to one or more categories.
Learn a whole new way to organize documents.
