Worldox Virtual User Group Meetings
Every month (usually on the last Monday) Paul Purdue and Mary Jo Boyd lead this fast-paced, informative, and interactive forum where you can ask questions or just learn from the group. Paul and Mary Jo announce their pre-selected topics in an email that’s broadcast the Thursday prior to the session. You can login to the session live, ask questions, and interact with the attendees, or you may “attend” by simply playing back the recorded session. Enjoy!

Join Paul and Mary Jo on Monday, August 26th at 3:00 pm ET as they explore defaults in Worldox.
Do you ever find yourself putting the same thing into the same fields over and over again? There’s a good chance that you can set a default to make that extra typing go away. You can default your profile screens, how the columns are organized in a file list, you can even change the default layout of the buttons at the top.
That’s our only topic this month, so you can rest assured that If it’s something that has a default, we’ll be talking about it.
Join Paul and Mary Jo as they tackle search templates and attaching documents to emails.
Have you ever been frustrated trying to attach documents from Worldox to emails? It’s possible that you don’t know all the different ways that are available. Mary Jo takes a close look at the different options that are available.
Paul digs into search templates: what they are, how they can save time, and how to set them up.
Join Paul and Mary Jo as they explore how to edit a document profile and how to search within search results.
Did you ever hit save as you were profiling a document, only to notice something wrong just as the profile window is closing? Or maybe you need to change the description for a document that’s been there for months. Mary Jo walks through the steps to change profile information and she talks about other things you can do in the edit profile screen.
Paul talks about how to refine a search that you’ve performed without starting over.
Join Paul and Mary Jo as they delve into searching: for clients, for matters, for text, for anything – and what it means when you don’t get the results you’re expecting.
Have you ever been frustrated trying to specify the client or matter in the profile screen? Mary Jo explores ALL your options and how to use them effectively.
Paul digs into what to do when you’re not getting the results you know you should when searching for documents.
Join Paul and Mary Jo as they tackle delete options and quick profiles (as opposed to favorite matters) in Worldox.
You may not see them (depending on your firms’ setup of Worldox), but there are three different “ways” to delete a file in Worldox. Mary Jo explains what they are, how you use them, and how (sometimes) you can get a file back.
Paul takes a look at Quick Profiles and how they differ from Favorite Matters.
Join Paul and Mary Jo as they explore archiving matters and the best way to import discovery documents.
Do you have documents from closed matters showing up in your “client files” searches (and taking up costly disk space)? Mary Jo shows how you can archive documents, segregate their storage, and still be able to include them in searches (but only when you want to).
Paul demonstrates the best practice for importing discovery documents into Worldox.
